Avoiding traditional polluting upholstery methods, it can easily be disassembled and reupholstered, ensuring a long life with minimal environmental impact. The Timbur Outdoor Bench is made in close collaboration with Carl Hansen & Søn.
Timbur means 'timber' in Icelandic, which ties in with the aesthetic of the bench and its light yet robust look where the untreated teak becomes a focal point. Gudmundur Ludvik's background as a cabinetmaker is reflected in the design of the bench, where the natural structure of the wood is an inherent part of the overall look. He has challenged the balance between simplicity and exclusivity by keeping all the details to a bare minimum. What remains is a harmonious design emanating calm and strength.
The Timbur Outdoor Bench is made of certified teak, which is a strong and durable wood that withstands a variable outdoor climate while patinating beautifully over time. The bench has a number of understated details, such as the subtly curved backrest, which is not apparent at first glance, but enhances the comfort, and the carefully hand-sanded rounded edges of the armrests. In addition, the generously shaped armrests can function as side tables with space for both a cup of tea and a small plate. A seat cushion in water-resistant textile is available for even greater comfort.

The name Brú means "Bridge" in Icelandic and refers to gathering people around a table, building a bridge between people around a table.

Choice is an elegant and ultra-flexible chair allowing you to configurate it in countless ways to match your needs and demands, and alter it if your needs are changing. The coloured shells of Choice are produced from 98% recycled polypropylene and made from a zero-waste production. Grooves in the back ensures a dynamic flexible backrest and the open construction of the shell of Choice gives “airflow” and ventilation resulting in remarkable comfort. A consumer-centric design, where you can easily alter the design and function of the chair. The cover can be changed without use of tools, making it easy to clean or change to other covers. Additionally, you can change the function of Choice from a dining chair to bar chair by changing the base. Choice has endless of possibilities; use your creativity to design the Choice that matches your exact wishes and space. Choice chair comes in an indoor and an outdoor version.
Re-volve is created from purely organic materials. As far as possible, this design avoids traditional upholstery methods – some of the furniture industry’s worst pollutants. And in place of synthetic foam, the Re-volve employs certified natural latex, a comfortable non-toxic alternative.
Each part of the chair can be easily reupholstered, ensuring a long life and less environmental impact. Similarly, high-quality materials mean that the Re-volve is uncommonly durable; an investment for both your home and the planet.
“Re-volve” refers to the chair’s shape: simple geometric shapes revolving around an axis. Furthermore, the bowl-shaped seat adds greater comfort. The chair is built to be disassembled, thanks to the lack of glue, and the design of its parts.

The Essential Family’s combines a veneer arc legs with differnt table tops. The core member is the Essential Barrel, a solid table designed for the long term.
The family’s latest addition is the Essential Rectangular, an entry-level version of the Essential and (like its forerunner) combines well with the Close chair.
As the name suggests, this is a distinctive geometric piece, made up to 280 cm in length. The Essential Rectangular is available in veneer and in a furniture linoleum version–a sustainable, biobased material made in the Netherlands.

Màni Armshell is a polypropylene chair featuring soft, curving contours, that provides comfortable seating to support even the most relaxed postures. Although different to other chairs in the Màni collection, which it is a part of although it is essentially another project, it does share the collection’s extreme versatility. The polypropylene shell produced from a single mould is accompanied by a choice of small seats upholstered or in tone-on-tone polypropylene in a slightly deeper shade. Màni Armshell, which is also available in a completely upholstered version, can be combined with different chair or stool bases featuring wooden legs, metal sled base, swivel trestle base or casters.
Manufactured to reflect the best features of Scandinavian design – AFI high stool proves to be a significant element of any interior regardless of the leading style. Effortlessly adapting to the given situation, AFI superbly fulfils its task in various types of spaces, from residential interiors and offices to hotels, restaurants as well as canteens. AFI high stool is offered in two variants. The idea behind the option with the backrest was to mirror the design of the AFI chair but elevate the user higher off the ground simultaneously granting new possibilities. The sitting position is supported by the frame which contour ends slightly above the veneer plywood seat. Both variants provide a feet rest thanks to the beam between the frame legs. The backrest and seat in two oak options and the universal black matte frame ensure that each user will find their ideal configuration.

Máni is a series of dining and office chairs with various bases. The shell is made in injection moulded polypropylene plastic or 3D moulded veneer and can be offered as fully upholstered or with a upholstered seat cushion.

The fully Close bench is the biggest member of the Close family and is every bit as comfortable as it looks. The outer contours of the seat and backrest, which were consciously designed as two distinct shapes, consist of clean, geometric lines. The minimalist shape of the frame reinforces the dynamic elements of the design. Although especially suitable for the dining area, the Close Bench can serve in a range of settings from residential to restaurants and lounges to offices with equal ease.

The Close Barstool is an extremely comfortable high chair that can be used in work environments, in private homes and in bars and restaurants. Meaning everywhere you wish to sit high and comfortable. The stool is available in a height of 65 and 75 cm.

Close Lounge is like the rest of the Close family an extremely comfortable Chair. The rounded backrest which measures 71.5 cm in width creates a generous refuge, and the slightly sloping seat allows a relaxed posture. Like the chair and the bench, The Close Lounge is softly padded and organically shaped on the inside, which moulds to the body. This forms a delicate contrast to the smooth contour of the overall piece of furniture.

The project was my contribution to Danish Design Makers exhibition "Extremely".
From one extreme to the other. I have always been fascinated by products with a built-in capacity to change shape.
A folding chair needs to stretch from one state adapted to the body into another optimized for storage.
At all times it must function aesthetically and ergonomically
and the transformation should take place smoothly and seamlessly. Balancing requirements of the two states is the
main challenge of creating a folding chair; however it often results in more or less successful compromises.
With this particular type of construction and choice of materials I have made it possible to optimise both states, without compromising the other.
The textile adapts and becomes flat when stored. Unfolded it becomes voluminous and offers perfect ergonomic support.

Mesa is a dinner and conference table system. The frame is constructed from die-cast, powder coated aluminum and extruded aluminium profiles. The tabletop is made of either laminate or linoleum. The table comes in different sizes.
